The Best of 2015 | Kent Wedding Photography

So 2015 was a very productive year for me, it enabled me to grow as a photographer and tick off some things off my photography bucket list. I got to go abroad and do my first destination wedding in Spain. My work also got published in a bridal magazine which was completely and utterly amazing and something I have wanted for a long time and 2015 allowed me to have the guts and confidence to go for it.

I also got engaged to my boy no date set though as I am running put of free weekends as 2016 and 2017 look to be my busiest years. I am so bloody excited about it!!

I have selected some images of what I feel are my favourites, but art is open to interpretation and what I like may not be what someone else likes. These images however were chosen based on a lot of things - technical skill, beautiful light, a moment caught on camera but unknown to the couple, love and finally realising a creative idea and seeing a collaboration come together.

I have been slack in updating my blog - a mother of 4, christmas and new year meant my children wanted me all to themselves. I felt so guilty though but loved having my herd with me.

So thank you 2015 for being so cool!

Maria & Jonny's Destination Wedding

I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to capture one of my oldest friends wedding at this stunning place Casa De Laila it was simply beautiful. With colourful umbrella's, paper pompoms, and tea lights dotted around the pool, I instantly fell in love. It was a scorching hot day but it never dampened the spirits, the sun was shining and so were the guests. The owners of the venue Ben & Anne - Marie were seriously cool people and was so relaxed you wouldn't think this was their first wedding of the year!! Maria looked simply stunning with a traditional lace wedding dress you oozed elegance!! With a heartfelt service, full of emotion and love I truly feel honoured to be part of their big day. Congratulations guys :0)
