The Best of 2015 | Kent Wedding Photography

So 2015 was a very productive year for me, it enabled me to grow as a photographer and tick off some things off my photography bucket list. I got to go abroad and do my first destination wedding in Spain. My work also got published in a bridal magazine which was completely and utterly amazing and something I have wanted for a long time and 2015 allowed me to have the guts and confidence to go for it.

I also got engaged to my boy no date set though as I am running put of free weekends as 2016 and 2017 look to be my busiest years. I am so bloody excited about it!!

I have selected some images of what I feel are my favourites, but art is open to interpretation and what I like may not be what someone else likes. These images however were chosen based on a lot of things - technical skill, beautiful light, a moment caught on camera but unknown to the couple, love and finally realising a creative idea and seeing a collaboration come together.

I have been slack in updating my blog - a mother of 4, christmas and new year meant my children wanted me all to themselves. I felt so guilty though but loved having my herd with me.

So thank you 2015 for being so cool!

Amy & Max the Horse - Photoshoot

I had the wonderful opportunity to capture Amy with her stunning horse Max. I had the best day working alongside Marina at Occasional Hair & Make up  who did an amazing job, we've since worked together on a styled photoshoot and its fair to say we rock as a team! Amy wore a beautiful long gown with pretty little purple flowers in her hair. Max was so striking and absolutely loved the camera - the little poser! What I loved more about this shoot was that I had my youngest son with me he is nearly 2 he doesn't often come to work with me but Amy being an old friend was happy he tagged along, I managed to document a beautiful moment between my son and this giant creature - well certainly giant in his my boys eyes! It was so endearing and so gentle, a truly beautiful moment.
